Question:

What means JPS-Format?

Answer:

It is a format for stereoscopic JPG Pictures: JP(g)Stereo

One JPS-File contains two JPG images together side by side,

You might know JPG side-by-side pictures from crossed/parallel-eye.

So it is the same, a side-by-side JPG picture only has a different ending of the filename not “.jpg” but “.jps”.

 Look at the picture below.

Example for a side-by-side picture:

Example for an JPS-file:

So, a side-by-side jpg is very similar to a jps file, only the ending “.jpg” changed to “.jps”

Question:

I have many side-by-side JPG Pictures.

Can I upload them into this 3D-Nature-Gallery, without changing to JPS?

Answer:

Yes, You can upload them. This Gallery will treat them like JPS.

Question:

I have many side-by-side Pictures and

I want to change the file-ending automatically from JPG to JPS.

Is there an easy way?

Answer:

Yes, it is very easy and fast:

1) Open StereoPhotoMaker

2) Go FILE - MuliConversion

3) select the Input/Output Folders,

4) check Output File Type ending JPS

5) push button “convert all files”, that’s all.

Question:

I have two stereoscopic files like: photo_l.jpg + photo_r.jpg and

I want to put them into one JPS-File. How to do this?

Answer:

1) Open StereoPhotoMaker

2) Go FILE - MULTI CONVERSION

3) select the Input/Output Folders,

4) check Input file Type to “Independent (L/R)”,

5) check Output File Type ending JPS

6) push button “convert all files

As well You can convert File-Types like:

         Side-by-Side

Above/Below

  Interlaced

Independent l/r

Anaglyph

But even if it is possible to convert files form anaglyph to JPS,

we do not recommend this, because of the colour lost, only if you have no other files to then convert from.
